This is real life. And we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Can I let you in on a little secret? When I watch this, I don’t see the mess. None of it. No, instead, I see an independent three year old doing what she loves in a home
Almost a year ago, we gave up the beach and the sunshine of South Carolina, and made our way inland (waaaaaaaay inland) to a small community town in the Midwest. “Why?” you might ask (as many did…and we may have even asked ourselves more than a couple times during the process). Well,
We love our brides.

Andrea found us online a year ago when her family was vacationing in Myrtle Beach as they wanted family pictures while they were there. We immediately loved their family and enjoyed every second we spent with them! Since then, we’ve gravitated more toward unposed and documentary photography. She follows us on Instagram

We left our home in South Carolina a few months ago, and we moved to a small little town in Nebraska. We were nervous about what this meant for our photography business. With all it’s charm, it’s no surprise that Charleston was named the top wedding destination in the US
Boys. Boys. Boys. Dance Parties. Sword Fights. Dr Who. Mario. Steaks.
There isn’t a thing that we could have loved more about this family’s Day In the Life session.
Don’t believe me!? Take a look for yourself:
We made one last trip to Charleston before we move to Nebraska & if we spent our last day in our favorite town in the world, we wouldn’t have spent it with anyone other than the Herdels. We have enjoyed seeing them and their family grow over the last couple years
